ONew America Officesstarted a sustainable and income-generating project that exchanges recyclable waste for bonuses on the electricity bill in the common area of the Condominium and will also benefit the InstitutionCASA EMILIEN LACAYthat belongs toCROSSED NETWORK.  To do this, just dispose of garbage conscientiously.

The project complies with federal, state and municipal legislation on solid waste management, having all environmental licenses for operation.

Required actions:

 

• Separate recyclable material (paper, cardboard) from organic waste (food scraps or wet waste).

• Separation is important as it avoids contamination of the material.

​

• Remove leftover food from recyclable materials (cans and PET bottles) If necessary, wash them.

​

• Crush cans, PET bottles to take up less space.

​

• Tie the cardboard as it makes it easy to store.

​

• Bag the white paper separately from the mixed paper as they have different values.

​

• Dispose of recyclable waste in the bin as described above.
